Hey, did you hear? Noida International Airport (NIA) just joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC)! That’s a huge step—it’s the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative. By signing up, NIA is committing to operate responsibly and align with UNGC's principles on human rights, labor, environmental protection, and anti-corruption. Their CEO, Christoph Schnellmann, even said it’s a “natural extension” of their goal to make NIA a sustainable, world-class airport. They’re serious about reaching net-zero emissions too, picking teams and partners based on eco-friendly design and construction. It’s inspiring to see an airport here taking such a lead in global sustainability!
