So, X (formerly Twitter) just announced a big change to its privacy policy, starting November 15. They’ll now be sharing user data with third-party collaborators to train AI models. That means unless you opt out, your data could be used to help AI systems, like chatbots, become smarter and more “human-like.” It’s kind of like what Reddit has done, and it could help X create a new revenue stream. But here’s the catch: while you can opt out, X hasn’t made it super clear where you can find that option in the settings. And they’ve also toughened up penalties on companies that scrape tweets—$15,000 for every million tweets accessed! Wild, right?
