Apple Shifts Focus to Cheaper VR Headset, Puts Vision Pro 2 on Hold

Hey, did you hear the latest about Apple's VR plans? They’ve put the brakes on the Vision Pro 2 to focus on making a more affordable headset. It looks like that $3,500 Vision Pro didn't take off as they hoped—no surprise there, given the price. So, instead of rushing out another high-end model, they're going all-in on a cheaper version. Rumor has it, they've even cut down on the Vision Pro 2 team and moved those folks over to this budget project. They’re aiming to release it by the end of 2025 now, instead of late 2024, and they haven’t even got a prototype yet! Makes sense, though—who’s gonna shell out for another pricey headset so soon?
