Hey guys, you won’t believe what’s happening with PhonePe! They’ve just launched their own Android app store, the Indus Appstore, and it’s shaping up to be a serious contender to Google Play. The big news? They’re in talks with major smartphone brands to pre-install their app store. They’ve already partnered with Nokia and Lava, and now they’re negotiating with a few more top players.

The cool part is that they’re aiming to reach 150 million users by the end of the year. Imagine that! And they’re making it super attractive for developers by offering zero listing and platform fees for the first year. Plus, you can use any payment gateway, unlike Google’s hefty 30% commissions. This could be a game-changer, especially for smaller developers and gaming apps that find it hard to get noticed on Google Play.

It’s already gaining traction with over 2 million downloads, mostly from tier-II cities. They’re going big on local languages and have features like voice and regional search. It’s not just an app store, but a whole engagement platform with video-led discovery. PhonePe’s really shaking things up!
